Hello, my name is Jennifer. I am a second generation wedding photographer who started out as my mother’s assistant at her weddings. Later, she helped me start Artisan Photography in 2006 with focus on weddings and family portraiture. As my business continued to grow, my husband joined me in 2008 and we became a family of photographers. He is an exceptional photographer with a very creative eye. While I take the lead as the face of the business and in customer service with our clients, I am able to do so with the backing of my favorite people.

Fifteen years as a wedding photographer served me well, as working with people transferred over into working with businesses, teams, and the owners/founders. Knowing how to help people look their best, how to tell the story of a business with photographs, all traces back to my roots… photographing people. Nowadays though, instead of photographing brides, I’m telling the story of the people behind a business name. There is an art to coaching clients into positioning and then letting them be themselves.

Fast forward to present day, Artisan has shifted to specializing in photography, graphic design and corporate gifting for businesses. As a contractor, I become part of a business’ creative department and marketing team, without being on company payroll. So whether it is project based or a weekly/monthly arrangement, our offerings fit all businesses. Team meetings are a great way to keep me in the loop on upcoming ad campaigns, trade show events, and marketing needs. By offering both photography and graphic design, we’re able to photograph with intention to meet the needs of a future marketing design. Throughout the years clients frequently comment that they chose Artisan because of our distinct style; our photos are known for being colorful, yet still true to life. As years go by, editing styles and fads in photography come and go, but we have always felt that timeless, high-end photography is a beautiful result of experienced photographers knowing their craft and the branding of the businesses we we are working with. We enhance our images during our post production process without losing the realistic look of true-to-life.
